Clear, almost translucent, pale salmon pink, this dry Pinot Noir rosé presents with a bouquet of pink grapefruit, orange zest and red berries with hints of rhubarb. The mouthfeel is crisp and light with strawberry, Bing cherry, pink grapefruit and crabapple elegantly displayed on the palate with undertones of spring-like fresh cut grass. Early picking and minimal skin contact mean this rose maintains racy acidity and understated but delicious fruit. Some classic Pinot Noir elegance (ie: sexiness) in the bottle.
Pair with BC goat cheese or prosciutto wrapped asparagus. It would be delicious with BC salmon or spot prawns also... a few local and seasonally appropriate ideas to enjoy with this wine!
